Jerry Goldsmith’s wonderfully Americana score tugs at the heart strings and tickles the funny with one of his most entertaining scores to come out of his body of work in the 1990’s. Whimsical and delightful are just two ways to describe this fantastic score written by the late maestro.

La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures are proud to announce the world premiere release of David Arnold’s incredible score to the 2004 film THE STEPFORD WIVES starring Nicole Kidman, Matthew Broderick and Bette Midler, directed by FRANK OZ. Big, brassy and very melodic, this haunting comedic score has been requested for years by film score fans and now it is finally here! Clocking in at nearly 60 minutes, this never before released score also contains numerous bonus tracks. Tim Greiving takes the listener behind the scenes of the score and the film and examines the fascinating history of the project.
The first 150 or so folks who purchase the cd directly through La-La Land Records will receive a booklet signed by composer David Arnold at no extra charge. As always -- Quantities are limited. You are not guaranteed a signed booklet.

This is a first for La-La Land Records. Their good friend, Joe Kraemer (Jack Reacher), came to them with a gorgeous score he composed for a low budget movie called FAVOR. The score runs around 28 minutes long. We didn’t press up cds for this score, but on Tuesday it will be available digitally on iTunes and other fine digital retailers. A digital booklet will be included as part of the package.
Kip's perfect life is put in jeopardy when the waitress with whom he's having a casual fling is accidentally killed in their motel room. Desperate, he turns to childhood friend and loser, Marvin, to help get rid of the body. Marvin agrees which begins the unraveling of their friendship and ultimately leads both to murderous acts they never thought themselves capable of.
